Princess Mononoke fanart.
San and one of her wolf god brothers.
All together, about 8 hours, 6 of them on the damn wolf! (my sincerest apologies, Beck)
And yes, I realize it's hard to tell I spent that long on it. Apparently drawing animals isn't exactly my forte, either. :P
Will eventually be a colored wallpaper, if I don't go completely insane in the process.
Wish me luck!

EDIT: Has anyone else had their category change on 'em here? I posted this as one thing yesterday, and today it's different.

Damn ! I love drawing, and I hope that one day, I would be good enough to be proud of my skills !
Love the mane on the wolf :D

Her mask is just scary :P

She looks intently focused on something...

Both character expressions and light hints of shading make this come to life. Good lineart as well... although Mononoke could probably use more depth between her and the wolf. As it is currently, it looks to me that she's standing through it, instead of being beside it. It might just be the angle of the wolf's back though and the style you're aiming for, so it's no biggie. It's a good side on perspective, in any case. =)

Stinkin' humans.

Well, I gotta say I'm really pleased with this (and damn do I need to get a copy of that thing). You did a superb job reguardless of any reservations you may have about your own work.

5 out of 5 Wolf Princesses agree. :D

8 hours? I could never spend eight hours drawing two characters. I admire your stamina. :)

This is really good. I like the simplicity. Very elegant.

Now that was a good movie. )

Very good drawing overall, it almost looks like it came from the studio itself! It's funny, I saw the title in my devwatch and I said, "why does this sound like something I know I like?" Of course the second I saw it I remembered what 'Mononoke Hime' means, lol. I'm not sure I can find any part that needs improvement. I will note that the shadow/shading work is done very well tho. ^^

My dA needs your help!
Seriously, that's how it works.
Really, check it out... I suggest you start with this deviation so you know what's going on. )
